Investor information
The next compute revolution needs a new thermal foundation.
As compute density increases, thermal management is becoming a more significant infrastructure constraint. KOOL PHASE is developing a direct-to-chip liquid-cooling architecture designed around controlled phase change inside the Coolant Distribution Unit (CDU).
Why now
Heat is becoming an infrastructure constraint.
Higher-density computing places greater demands on cooling, facility infrastructure, physical footprint, and thermal-management strategy.
KOOL PHASE is being developed for environments where thermal density and infrastructure constraints may increasingly shape what can be deployed.
The KOOL PHASE thesis
Capture heat at the hardware. Control phase change inside the CDU.
KOOL PHASE is developing direct-to-chip liquid cooling in which heat is captured at the computing hardware while controlled phase change is designed to occur inside the Coolant Distribution Unit (CDU).
Computing hardware is not submerged in coolant.
Understand the technologyDevelopment approach
Engineer. Validate. Improve. Scale.
- 01
Engineer
Define the system boundary, thermal problem, constraints, and engineering question.
- 02
Validate
Test assumptions through controlled engineering work and measurable evidence.
- 03
Improve
Use results to refine architecture, materials, controls, and integration.
- 04
Scale
Evaluate what would be required to move from validated engineering toward repeatable deployment.
Claims should follow measurement.
Potential applications
Designed around where heat may become the limit.
These are potential target environments under consideration, not existing deployments.
